MGA has recently made important submissions to government inquiries focused on strengthening the independent retail sector. These include our detailed input to the NSW Illegal Tobacco Trade Inquiry, addressing the impact of illicit tobacco on community safety and retailer livelihoods. We also contributed to the Regulatory Harmonisation to Boost Productivity discussion, advocating for streamlined regulations that reduce red tape and help independent retailers operate more efficiently.
