Submission – Review of Liquor Control Reform (Prohibited Supply) Regulations 2015

MGA has made a formal submission to the Victorian Government as part of the review of the Liquor Control Reform (Prohibited Supply) Regulations 2015. Representing independent liquor and grocery retailers across the country, we strongly support clear and effective regulation that promotes responsible retailing and minimises alcohol-related harm.

This submission reflects the views of our members and provides constructive feedback to support the development of practical, fair, and effective reforms.

MGA was pleased to join SPAR retailers, suppliers and industry representatives on the Gold Coast recently for the 2026 SPAR Australia Trade Show and Gala Awards Dinner.

Held at the Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Centre from 29–31 July, the annual event brought together retailers, suppliers, directors and staff from across the SPAR network to connect, share ideas, explore new products and initiatives, and celebrate excellence in independent retail.
