To celebrate the one-year anniversary of the IGA Umina Beach store opening, the team ran an in-store promotion offering the chance to win a 2024 MG Excite. The promotion ran for four months, attracting thousands of entries from the local community.
On the day of the draw, approximately 1500 people showed up to the event, which featured live music, dance troops, charity BBQs, face painting, and character appearances, alongside exciting in-store promotions and giveaways.
Much to the delight of the enthusiastic crowd, a lovely local customer named Katrina was announced as the winner. Tears of joy and heartwarming hugs were shared as the community celebrated Katrina’s good fortune.
“It was a wonderful day for our store,” said Store Manager Layne. “We are already looking forward to the next giveaway.”
Also in attendance were General Manager Adam and local MP Dr. Reed Gorden, who joined in the festivities and congratulated Katrina on her win.
