Orbost FoodWorks awarded Best Supermarket

Orbost FoodWorks, located in the East Gippsland and independently owned by the Price family, was announced the national champion at a gala event in Adelaide in late February.

The supermarket is a member of the Australian United Retailers (AUR) independent retailing group. Orbost FoodWorks caters uniquely to its community with a focus on customer experience and delivering the essentials locals want and need.

“Orbost FoodWorks is a worthy winner of National Supermarket of the Year and we congratulate the store on its achievement,” Australian United Retailers National Operations Manager Robert Markezic said.

“This supermarket is a great example of the dedicated and driven retailers within Australia’s independent supermarket sector.”

30 awards were announced at the gala event including departmental, specialist, state and national categories.
